Prof. Rui Li

Dr. Rui Li, Master's Supervisor and Associate Professor. He graduated from the School of Physics at Dalian University of Technology in 2004, earning his Bachelor's degree. In 2014, he completed his Ph.D. in Science and remained at the university as a faculty member. From 2009 to 2012, he pursued joint doctoral res-earch at the University of Texas in the United States. His research has focused on the design and construction of Raman spectroscopy instruments, surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy, and coherent anti-Stokes Raman spectroscopy (CARS). He has successfully applied these techniques to medical imaging for clinical- precision healthcare. He has collaborated with several top-tier hospitals in Dalian on clinical research projects. Rui Li has authored five books, with "Fundamental Optics" being used as a textbook in higher education for optical information science and engineering. He has published over 20 SCI papers and holds two patent-s. In 2023, he was awarded the First Prize in Science and Technology by the China Association for Instrumental Analysis (CAIA), where he served as the third co-ntributor. His research interests primarily focus on the development of nonlinear optical instruments and medical imaging detection.
