Dalian Yinggeshi Botanical Garden is a national AAAA-level scenic spot, co-designed by international landscape design masters Junchiku Inada and David Paterson.
With the gentle spring breeze, six graduate students temporarily set aside their research work. They brought snacks prepared in advance, pitched a tent in a quiet corner of the botanical garden, and enjoyed a picnic amidst the resplendent floral sea. They played Chinese chess among the flowers and cards under the shade of the trees. These games served as a medium for their communication, bridging the distance between them and enhancing the team's cohesion.
This spring outing not only provided valuable time for physical and mental relaxation but also infused new vitality and creativity into our research work. In addition, it brought harmony to the team and the warmth of spring.
